Windpower Australia was founded in 1985 by Clive Campbell. Over the years we have provided services to hundreds of our loyal and happy customers.
In 2023, the business transformed to provide a wider array of services to cater to the growing demand of sustainable technology. Our ethos remains the same since our founding, and that is to provide industry leading products and advice for wind, solar and batteries.
Over the past few decades many companies have come and gone, however we continue to be a stalwart while evolving with the times as new technology emerges.
The future is here
Windpower Australia has always existed with the objective of helping people adopt renewable energy equipment. Our genesis was in wind turbine systems, hence the name. After working at the CSIRO, our founder, Clive, was the first to commercialise solar power for residential households.
These days our customers ask us for solar as much as wind (if not more), and EV charging is one of the next conversations for many customers. Windpower's Director, Mike, happens to be one of the first EV owners in Australia with a 2014 Tesla Model S.
